One, Quality System
Comstock Mining Inc. is a uniquely positioned Nevada-based, gold and silver mining company with extensive, contiguous property in the World renown historic ‘Comstock Lode’ and Silver City mining districts (collectively, the “Comstock District”). Nevada dominates the US gold production, claiming 74% of the market. The historic Comstock Lode was where the term ‘Bonanza’ began, and its rugged high desert mountains produced the largest silver discovery since the Spanish claimed Potosi in 1545!
Comstock Mining Inc. set new standards for responsibility
Comstock Mining Inc. is an emerging leader in sustainable, responsible mining, including the area’s only concurrent and accelerated reclamation, extensive soil sampling, voluntary air monitoring, cultural asset protection and historical restoration.
The Comstock District is located within the western portion of the Basin and Range Province of Nevada, between Reno and Carson City. Comstock Mining Inc. began acquiring properties throughout the Comstock District in 2003 and has consolidated a significant portion of the Comstock District, aligned itself with community master plans and objectives, entitled and zoned its properties consistent with mining and alternative uses, built an unprecedented infrastructure, and brought an exploration project into test production and positioning the platform for production growth and clean-technology innovations, collaborations and developments.
Investing in Comstock Mining Inc.- Historical proof, social responsibility and leading edge technology working together
Because of the Comstock District’s historical significance, the geology is well known and has been studied extensively by the company, our advisors, and many independent researchers. We have expanded our understanding of the geology of the project area through vigorous surface mapping, geophysical analysis, exploration drilling, drill hole logging, and extensive mine development and planning, including geological level plans and cross-sectional analysis. The volume of geologic data is immense, and thus far, the reliability has been excellent. We have amassed an extensive library of historical data and detailed surface mapping of the Comstock District properties and continue to obtain historic information from private and public sources. We use such data in conjunction with information collected from our current mining operations, to target geologically prospective exploration areas and plan exploratory programs, including expanded surface and underground drilling.
Comstock Mining Inc. has set a new standard of excellence in practice for mining. Our strategy is to deliver stockholder value by accelerating throughput from a variety of gold and silver sources, including validating qualified reserves from our first two resource areas (Dayton and Lucerne).
All efforts are focused on significantly growing the commercial development, our operations through extended, longer-term mine plans, and through new clean leading-edge technologies for mineral extraction processes, and partnerships that use a safe and chemical-free. This process is not only economically feasible; it is more importantly, socially, and environmentally responsible.
This new focus will grow our cash flow from new market sources targeting gold and silver extraction from industrial mercury contamination, previously leached materials, and industrial waters. These market segments represent growing precious metal resources, extractable through new and existing technologies and processes, while conventional ore reserves are being depleted by major miners at an unsustainable rate.
