Q: How was Comstock selected for the Adelaide Battery Metals Pitch Battle and what was it all about?
A: Thank for your question. The Pitch Battle was a charitable event in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Thom Calandra of The Calandra Report had recently visited the Comstock and met with some of Comstock’s broader team involved in our primary ESG enterprises, that is, the Mercury Clean Up (MCU) and Lithium-Ion Battery (LiNiCo) recycling enterprises.
Thom referred us to Adelaide Capital who was hosting a Battery Metals “Pitch Battle” competition.
We actually had fun watching the other great companies present while supporting this incredible charity. We were afforded a 3-minute pitch about Comstock with emphasis on our mercury remediation and lithium-ion recycling businesses. Attendees were given an opportunity to vote for their favorite presenter in each of three 5-team categories and then the final three “pitchers” had a final championship round and we were delighted that the voters chose Comstock as the best presenting company!!
There are so many types of Leukemia and Lymphoma and they all impair lives. We were proud to support real efforts for curing this illness and improving lives for the families so drastically impacted. We are also In It To Win It, for such a great cause and we are sincerely honored to participate.
See this Pitch Battle in full on Adelaide Capital’s YouTube channel at the link below. Although all presenters were excellent and we recommend watching, Comstock starts at 7:15 for the 1st heat and again for the final heat at 1:12:00. We are thrilled to receive the sixty-minute webinar winner’s package with Adelaide Capital.
