Add to cart Pure Comstock Silver Nevada Sesquicentennial Medallion $100.50 This limited edition medallion commemorates Nevada’s Sesquicentennial and is the first substantial minting of Comstock Silver since the Carson City Mint shut down in 1893. It features Gold Hill, Nevada in the early 1870s, including the world-renowned Crown Point Trestle. The medallion’s reverse captures Gold Hill’s historic Upper Yellow Jacket Hoist and Ore Chute, recently restored by the Comstock Foundation with funding from Comstock Mining. Each medallion is minted from one troy ounce of pure (.9999) Comstock silver. Ron Oden, a Lake Tahoe-based artist and graphic designer, developed the images for the medallion.
